Of course the ultra cons aren't going to let their kids get near those evil big video screen and they willl have gone to the PEAK conference a little while ago.

My daughter wants me to go with her. Mrs. Steinway won't be going because she doesn't want to make a spectacle with her short hair style.

Our heathern Jezebel wives are doing the right thing by staying away from functions like these! They won't be tempting any of those young women to bob their hair and paint their faces.

We have 18 driving down in 2 church vans, from Portland, Maine, leaving Sunday after church. Going to spend a couple days in Gatlinburg, then over to Nashville. If you see that contingent, led by my son Phil Jr. and our youth leaders, Amy and Jesse Morin, please introduce yourselves. God bless and have a great time!

Re: National Youth Congress Nashville Aug 5-7
CC1 Why are you so negative on PEAK? Why not just stick with speaking good about the upcoming NYC. The kids that went to PEAK are genuine in their realtionship with God. They really don't need to get on an Apostolic FriendsForum and read deragatory comments about a wonderful experience they had in God from someone who is suppose to be Apostolic. I'm UPC but I think it is wrong to slam someone else who believes the same message as we do. Let's learn to bless one another. Love.

Re: National Youth Congress Nashville Aug 5-7
More young people soaking up what God has for them!!! Pray they get a double-portion of what the L&T children and teens received at their camp/conference. They need all they can get before school kicks in - just a refreshing to keep them reminded of how powerful God is!!!! Blessings to the PEAK leaders and all attending!!!

Please explain how I am "so negative on PEAK"? It is a fact that one of the issues the conservatives who broke off to form the World Wide Wrestling Pentecostal Fellowship had with the UPC Youth functions was that they utiziled video for image magnification and presentations.
I did not disparage PEAK in any way and I am sure there were many great Pentecostal young people at that meeting.
