I am so thankful for AFF
I haven't had a lot of time due to traveling and being in other people's home to spend here however today I just want all to know I love you folks, love the forum, love and appreciate our administrators.
Thank you kind folks for putting up with me and my love for missions. Thank you for being my friends. I have nothing to complain about and everything to be thankful for.
I don't have to see eye to eye with anyone to be their friend. I love people and hope all feel at home around me.

Re: I am so thankful for AFF
Sister Alvear,
Thank you for the kind words. One of the highlights of my association with AFF and it's predecessor forums has been getting to meet people like yourself and to be blessed by your posting.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Your posts were one of the reasons I wanted to join AFF - just so I didn't feel like I was "lurking". I always look for your comments and testimonies of what God is doing in Brazil. Thank you for your honesty and kindness and true love for the lost.

Re: I am so thankful for AFF
We must all pray each day for fresh baptisms of love. We all get hurt by others but there is a wonderful healing power in love. No wonder John talked so much about love in his writings...Hard people are no use in the Master's hands.

Re: I am so thankful for AFF
Sis A, without you, AFF would not even be AFF.
We would have a huge hole in our ship and I'm afraid it would sink slowly.
You are an amazing lady and I am honored to be able to consider you my friend.
Much love and lots of prayers - Margie
