I'm very much not an Ultra Conservative, nor am I one who belittle the Pentecostal experience.
Ironically, I haven't really been "hit" in this forum yet. Far more bantering with those on the left than any criticism I've received from the right. Though, there really aren't two sides, as we all have different opinions about a multitude of topics.
I've said plenty in this thread. Apparently no one is listening.
People in this forum have families falling apart over these issues, great emotional turmoil, and some want to approach very serious subjects with triteness, insignificance and mocking. I urge to to be sensitive and respectful, not withholding your opinion, and not forcing yourself to be straigh-faced, but being sensitive. Clear enough?
Man you are right. My whole world is full of people who are dealing with these issues. I know personally all about the consequences of leaving the "truth". I have been loving and full of grace towards them but I have been attacked, gossiped about, called full of the devil, and much much more from the only people I ever knew my whole life.
If I could tell you my situation you would be blown away and think I was lying to you. The things that I have seen happen because of this wonderful doctrine have been sickening. I have seen mothers attack their own daughters and grandchildren and this was all in the name of truth. But guess what, I don't hate Apostolics and I don't believe that they are intentionally doing wrong.
Please don't be offended when I question your beliefs. If they are true they will stand the test of time.
Jeffrey, why the lashing out? Why so much anger? Who's hurt you? Come on, dude, you're pounding me, you're going after everyone who disagrees with you. What's the deal? KWSS does NOT spit on pentecostalism. Have you ever talked privately with him? Heard his story? Asked him questions one on one? I have. He's a good guy. He attends a UPC church but has difficulty with a few things.....just like YOU do. His doubts are deeper than yours, but why are your doubts better than his?
