Questions about a Christmas Gift--for the guys!!!

(Or any technologically advanced girls.)

This is one of Jeff's Christmas gifts:

AM/FM radio kit

Should I buy him a soldering iron to go with it? Or is that something I should let him buy later?

And what about this? What is it? Are these just spare parts? Necessary or not?

Practical Soldering and Parts Kit

If you were going to use a kit like this, what would you need to go with it?

The radio kit is very cool.

This is the soldering kit I bought my son when he was younger. Tobin's Lab is very awesome but, I'm sure you already know that.

Don't ask me if I wanted a radio I wouldn't be playing the professor on Gilligan's Island...I would just buy a radio.

This company is great. I got our lab equipment here for Biology - kit for dissecting a frog, starfish, earthworm, etc. It doesn't break the bank!

I love gadgets! Get the kit and then let him do the rest. It will make him feel intelligent.
But we know who the smart one really is don't we. Good shopping MissB!
