Well, I'm the Lord knows because most of us missed that memo.

Re: Health Care Dilemma

Major promises broken by Obama:

Individual mandate

Quote:
“Now, under any mandate, you are going to have problems with people who don’t end up having health coverage. I think we can anticipate that there would also be people potentially who are not covered and are actually hurt if they have a mandate imposed on them.”

You Will Not Lose Your Doctor
Quote:
“No matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people. If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what.”

No Tax Hikes for People Making Less than $250,000

Quote:
“if your family earns less than $250,000 a year, you will not see your taxes increased a single dime. I repeat: not one single dime.”

http://www.whitehouse.gov/the_press_...Morning%2BBell

Your Health Premiums Will Be $2,500 Lower

Quote:
“The only thing we’re going to try to do is lower costs so that those cost savings are passed onto you. And we estimate we can cut the average family’s premium by about $2,500 per year.”

http://www.kitv.com/politics/1772591...Morning%2BBell

Health Reform Reduces the Deficit

Quote:
“I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits – either now or in the future. Period.”

Tax Payer Funded Abortion
Quote:
“No federal dollars will be used to fund abortions.”

Right! LOL!

I thought this was well put together. It doesn't mean that I think the Republican party has proved themselves as yet, but I like it.

If you want to view an awesome meeting of great minds. I loved this conference. I posted this on another thread, but I'm not sure it's getting the coverage it really needs.

This gives me hope that some are working for the people. David Horowitz, I think it was him, is saying they will be pulling a strong candidate for 2012 who has not been in politics. I'm thinking that if he has a good work ethic, experience and education, we could pull that off. I believe America is in a populist state of mind. Sarah Palin and Doug Hoffman have set the stage for this.

When you click on the 2009 Restoration Weekend you will get these topics discussed. I was enthralled and excited about it!

02 Obama's Radical Transformation of America
03 The Middle East Cauldron
04 Lunch Keynote: Ann Coulter
05 Dinner: Annie Taylor Award
06 Breakfast Keynote: Congresswoman Michele Bachmann
07 Is Hollywood Changing?
08 Major Issues in the Congress
