One Thing's absolutely sure, this man needs prayer much more than he needs
RIDICULE. Even if he did proclaim himself to be something he isn't.

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I don't know. Maybe public ridicule is what he needs? That's not for me to say but it did go beyond merely claiming to be something he is not

I understand what you are saying and YES he does need prayer, but I don't think it's wrong to send a message to others so they aren't taken by him in the future.
I think so many times we tend to "protect" the wrong ones.

You're right. And he's a rough and tumble kind of guy. Somehow, I think he'll bounce right back from the little set back.

WOW, guess I missed the story as well. All I can say is that we had his number then and he has his number now! It is sad, but we reap what we sow. I pray that he sows mercy, honesty and compassion......'cause he sure is gonna need it!
