He is IMHO a great thinker and apologist for the apostolic movement. I realize that he can be very abrasive at times, but overall he is a great guy.
Abrasive is usually seen as passion and rightness when the people are for the topic being discussed.

It was an IRC chat channel. It was a lot like a forum but there were no threads etc. It was a live chat going on as long as there was somebody there to talk with.
