In other news...
I have been working for a Real Estate agent for about a year and a half now. I am her listing and marketing specialist. I put all of her houses for sale (listings) online, and have built her online presence.
I've been wanting to do more lately, and after having almost 3 weeks off for Christmas Holiday I had a lot of time to think about what I want to be when I grow up. I'm not content to just be a 'Girl Friday' for the rest of my life. My boss is the greatest at recognizing when I'm troubled, often before even I know it! We talked and she suggested I get my RE license and become her Showing Agent. All I have to do is take the Buyers to tour the homes, and when they are interested in making an offer, then my boss steps in with the legal paperwork.
I thought that would be PERFECT! So here I am, embarking on a new chapter in my life. Not sure how long it will take, but hopefully in just a few weeks I'll have my RE license.
How's that Tina?

I know you will do great. In TX if you have RE license you can do the legal portion as well and get paid for the sale.

The Good Lord must have known I was going to need some laughter for my soul today! Thank you and Renda for helping me to literally laugh out loud! This is too funny!

Re: Gabby's
Another one of the funny things from a kid type stories...
I'm gonna tell on Michael.... (age 10)
He wanted a snack so I went to check the available options in the kitchen. He turned down a couple of different things I offered, and said nevermind-- and started to leave the kitchen. Then I remembered I had a box of "whales" crackers stashed away behind a few other things so I dug those out. I called him back to the kitchen and before he saw the box-- asked him "How about some whales?" He got this really shocked look on his face and said "Mom, I know you think I eat a lot, but even *I* can't eat a whale."

MissouriMary, I go to Limewire.com and get songs. I use TrendMicro for my virus checker. It checks them before it downloads them. If there is a virus, it blocks the download.

My brother got a virus on his brand new computer even tho he had Norton on it. The ONLY way to get rid of it was to completely reformat his hard drive. It wasn't so bad at that point, since he'd only had the computer for a few days. But imagine if he'd had it for a few years!

Re: Gabby's
I'll check limewire. Thanks!
It's too quiet online today. Not sure why. But it is a wonderful day!
I lost my keys this morning-after driving to work, while still sitting in my car. Now there is a first. I was looking in the ignition, saying, "I must've had them. I got here somehow, after all. But where did I put them?" Finally found them under the seat-they'd fallen off my lap. Half an hour of searching. Guess it's time to clean the car!!

Re: Gabby's
MissouriMary, I needed a chuckle today and that sure gave me one. Thanks for sharing your story.
I've had a bug for the past 2 days. Ran a slight fever, had a miserable headache and ached all over. Never got sick to my stomach, but other than that, I sure felt like I've had the flu. I think I am finally getting over it. But guess what! Now Keith has it. Geesh!
