You definitely can't have a wife if you don't have a place to keep her.

Anyway, you don't have to buy an expensive house. A one-bedroom is all you need. Even a studio will work, if it's on the large side.

Bryan, when Jeff and I were married, he made a TOTAL of $808.00 a month and I was in college. We had a small one-bedroom house that we found for $275/month (WOW, those were the days, huh? That wouldn't even rent a bathroom now.), we had a car payment & insurance pmt. that amounted to about $150 a month, $75 worth of utilities and the rest was for food and living expenses. I don't know HOW we did it, but we did.

I never said it had to be luxurious. But it DOES have to be cute

and you can't have any roommates (especially if their names are Mom & Dad).

Physical attractiveness is good for the first hour or two on a date if their personality is not there (or is just ugly).

I don't know how old you are (not that you have to be to remember watching any of these) but do you recall watching movies made in the 50's and 60's starring Philis Diller and Jane Russel? Of course Phillis was so goofy looking that her appearence was always a major joke of the show. Jane Russel was always the dark haired bombshell beauty queen. Ever see them now? Jane is (assuming she is still alive, which she may not be) looked like a witch in her old age with stretched skin and an extremely angular face. Phillis looks no different! In fact, it would be no contest who I would want to be married to if I had to chose between them, and I bet the Phillis Diller was also a pile of laughs too!
