I get to redecorate my living room. YAY!!!!! And maybe my kitchen.

I wish I could afford him. One of my SIL's is a contractor though. He will get the job!!!!

I don't think anyone can afford 'him' (Mike Holmes). LOL His salary now comes from the networks showing his program.
Although he DOES charge something for the jobs he films. He never reveals how much, but he is not giving away free home improvement projects.

Cin, again I am sorry for your loss... and do I understand correctly you do not have ins?
Being in the Fireplace/Chimney biz, I have a few questions if you care to answer. Was this a Prefabricated fireplace and chimney, or a brick masonry structure? Was there a recent flue fire?
I am praying you find quick recovery from all this.
