Yes, we can sleep well having made our pilgrimage to see the "fire!"
A strong smell of kerosene, I felt like I was at the airport.

There were people in the street trying to keep the crowds entertained.
This guy had a huge crowd and was actually quite good.
He made the escape "funny."

Alas, after 4 hours, I was tired it was getting cold so driving over the Cambie Bridge I looked East & snapped a pic of the Athletes village.

Just finished watching Ice-Dancing. Everyone did an awesome job. It was so beautiful. Congrats to Canada!!!! Job Well!!!!! Their program was so lovely. I got a lil' misty eyed.

There is media from all over the world videoing everyone & everything.

I even saw Scotty Bowman.

The Canadian couple (Virtue and Moir) were amazing, they were mesmerizing to watch! I loved our American teams and was rooting for them all the way, but I was completely won over by these skaters!

Many of you like myself really enjoy figure skating, and more than aware of Plushenko's disdain of Lysacek for winning the gold. But, I read this today and I just had to laughand shake my head This boy has really lost all common sense. He has created a medal for himself o his webpage. "Platinum of Vancouver".
