Chekov's Son Is Dead

It is with sadness that the actor who played Chekov in Star Trek was in Vancouver pleading for the wearabouts of his son.
It was heart wrenching to hear a father's appeal as I am a father as well.
I was praying for a favourable outcome.

A body was discovered in Stanley Park at noon and is believed to be Andrew Koenig.

Sad.

Ron, do they know for sure it's Andrew? Like you, I have been praying for a favorable outcome. As a parent, and as someone who suffers periodically from depression, something about this story grabbed at my heart.

So heartwrenching to think of a person viewing life through such a lens of despair, that the only thing that looks better to them is death. How sad is that?

Where death is the only thing (in thier eyes at that moment) to break the stranglehold on thier life.

Lord, this world needs you in a bad way.
