Re: QUESTION:Anyone heard of this singer?? PLEASE
Try to look for God in each person that sings or speaks...style is not always that important...but GOD and His anointing is very important.
What may please God may not always please us....

Personally, I think the high-church type liturgical worship services can be very beautiful and spiritual. It conveys the holiness, transcendence, and majesty of God in a way that trite, trendy music cannot.

The sound and video quality is not the best, but this is basically what I was referring to:
Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church

For me, I would need to replace the organist with our pastor's wife, and a black gospel choir. Same song, same church, same instruments, different application. Then all would be right with the world.

What a way to wake up on a Sunday morning!

Here's a video from our service this past Sunday in Nashville. If you like jazz, you'll love this version!

How is Josh Bates related to Tommy Bates?
Josh Bates is a Pentecostal that has an awesome Contemporary Christian song that used to get played on the radio down here all the time. Appeared on one of the WOW cd's too (I think 2008).
I think Josh Bates is from Kentucky or somewhere in that part of the country.
