FHTM
Anyone here familiar with FHTM?
I know a lot of Pentecostals seem to be getting in on this. I researched via the internet and of course you get a mulitude of varying opinions.
It appears to me to be a MLM although I was told it is not.

Re: FHTM
I've never heard of it, but it's been my experience that most things that seem like MLMs..... are.

Esther, that's quite a code...
I don't know what the code completely stands for, but I agree with AQP about MLMs.

Re: FHTM
I know one guy that tried very hard to get me involved. He actually make some money at it (he has been into it for several years now.) but he still works his job soo I don't know for sure.
What I do know is myself and many others who were approached by him felt... well sort of like he took advantage of our acquaintance in an effort to get us hooked up. The ones I know of that signed up under him have not done much of anything at all with it.
They don't claim to be MLM and MLM does not claim to be a pyramid scheme... IMO they are all variations of the same thing.

Re: FHTM
Fortune high tech marketing, is from all indications a scam ,although not all mlm's are .Amway was one of the first successful ones. The key is getting in early before the market is saturated with what ever product it is.

Right. I think perhaps the current question facing these groups is not about whether the market is saturated with a particular product, (many have actually circumvented this problem by being able to sell pretty much anything) but whether the market is saturated with these types of schemes in general.
Pretty much everyone I know has a very negative view of ALL these companies. And being the new kid on the block no longer engenders thoughts of expediency to get on board but rather even more skepticism.

Re: FHTM
They say they are like the middle man. They don't have a product of "theirs" to sell. They have all the cell phone companies and some others.
What I wonder about it they showed in their promotional DVD Best Buy being one of their clients, but if you go to their website now they are not listed.
Someone else mentioned in a response on it being a scam that Sears would not be a part of a company that was a scam. Sears is not listed on their website either.
Montana will not let them do business in their state at this time. SC also had banned them, but that seems to have been resolved.
Not sure how reliable this company is and IF they are as good as they claim.
A friend of mine just signed up with them and he is currently without a job and I hate to see him put money into something that may be a scam.
He was approaced by a UPC minister. Perhaps this is all true. But I am leary. He had two friends check it out and said it was all legit.
I would love to hear from someone that has been involved in the company to confirm what the real truth is in regards to this company.

Re: FHTM
Why do Christians get involved in stuff like this?
Are we especially gullible or naive or greedy of filthy lucre?
