And she hammered the nail squarely on in her post.
I loved that she wasn't "afraid" to speak to us - she came right in our venue and had a picture taken with all of us from AFF. Hopefully, Sherri will be able to post it soon.

Re: JCM Reunion / AMC Conference Check In Thread
you take it as judgmental against the reunion, but you aren't considered judgmental of the AMC? always an interesting line of thought.
well for starters, they aren't married anymore.

That's pretty much the way it is.
And many of your so called "truths" are "traditions".
Same old tired song.

you know, if it is tradition it isn't going to hurt at all,
if it isn't,

When a person isn't sure of what they believe or why they believe it, they generally revert to the "Better safe than sorry, rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it" argument.
But, when you're sure of what you believe you don't have to deal in "maybes" you can be confident in your beliefs and distinguish between truth and tradition.
I don't criticize anyone for what they believe, that's between them and God. But, when they look down their noses at me because I don't agree with them, that's when I have a problem.
If you don't think that most Apostolics believe a "salvation by works" doctrine, then you're sadly mistaken. And, if someone is not doing as much "work" as me, then I have a tendency to get bitter toward them and/or proud because I'm "doing" more. Happens all the time, and it's never pretty, and it's never right.
There's a lot more scripture against "judging one another" than there is about uncut hair.

Who said that "all" the AMC attendees were judgmental?

Re: JCM Reunion / AMC Conference Check In Thread
you would probably never believe I do agree on several issues, but to lump everyone together as judgmental on one side and just enlightened on the other doesn't muster. Most "enlightened" like to treat the ole tyme apostolics, as lead around on a lease, not understanding, etc.... when that isn't true at all.
and if it doesn't matter then you are on solid ground. So why does it bother you so much?
