I've really been looking forward to this conference. Actually it was through my meeting one of the local pastors here at Blessings who was involved in bringing this conference to BC that they decided to see if they could use our church facilities. This pastor asked me if we would consider renting our church and other facilities and I said that I felt sure the answer would be "yes" so then they contacted my husband. I think it was pretty neat that we were involved in hosting this conference.

I got to see a number of people last evening who I haven't seen in years. I really enjoyed talking with Sis. Foster and Sis. Dillon (she's a sweetheart) and some other local pastors who I had never met before as well as a few who are pastoring here in B.C. but who I know from back East.

Mark Foster preached great - hard and fast as usual - but with lots of good content. He was the forerunner in last night's service because Bro. Dillon preached next and wow! I enjoyed him so much!! I wish he could have preached another hour!

Bro. Dillon is indeed quite an animated preacher, yet he always has some great content.

We hadn't heard him since Maine campmeeting about 12 years ago.

The interesting thing was that he was slated to speak in one of the sessions this morning on "Power of Impartation" and I was feeling so bad that I was going to miss that because I've been thinking about that topic quite a bit recently and had some questions about it.

Well, he actually preached on it last night!!! I was so glad he did. And it was very very good!

I'm sure his teaching this morning on the topic would have been good too. Maybe they recorded it.

I know the services are being videotaped so hopefully the day sessions are being taped too.

About the apple pie ......... sorry ladies. Haven't had time for baking pies.

I'm just getting off work here and will just have enough time to get something to eat, change, and then to church.

I think Thad would have approved.

The preaching has been good and Bro Dillon and Bro Foster both stated that they were glad to be here.

We are hungry for a move of God in B.C. and we are glad they could come.

Was JWD his usual low key reserved self? Did you have to strain to hear him prach? LOL!!!!

Ron, I can't believe you folks had Felicity right AT an old fashioned Pentecostal altar (in her own church no less) and you guys didn't lay hands on her and pray that bobbed hair / makeup demon out of her!!!!!!

Talk about wasted opportunty. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Perhaps better to wait until the last night though eh? (the "eh" is for you Canadians).
