Seriously, I will be driving up that way in June, it would be great to be able to see it if you have specific location information.
I'll try to find out. I just know it's in the Cayo District, and sort of rural. But I will try to get some more specifics.

Re: Newest Mission Project - L & T Belize

I have rented the AG campgrounds that is located in the Cayo district. We outgrew their facilities and moved our family camp to the Baptist training center in the Belmopan area. Welcome to Belize!

Thanks, Tim. Where in Belize are you located? We went in yesterday and found the property and walked it off and prayed over it. It's just past the turnoff to Spanish Lookout on the Western Highway. You turn on the next left and go on a very BAD dirt/gravel road about two miles and then turn left again. It's out in the middle of nowhere, but it's gorgeous land. 50 acres! The District Supt. from the AG here was supposed to meet us and take us to the property, but he got tied up, so we hunted until we found it ourselves.

Are you a missionary to Belize?

We are located in the northern part of Belize. We are in Guinea Grass Village, Orange Walk District. My family and I have been here for 9 1/2 years. We have five churches and a christian school. The area that you have purchased is a beautiful place.

You will probably find that your best place to purchase building material is, "Builder's Hardware," in Belmopan. Sometimes, I actually go there all the way from here to purchase things. Land clearing would be best done by the Mennonites from Spanish Lookout.

Bad roads/Belize ....it means the same thing!

Yes, I am trying to be a Missionary!.....

I kinda know the ropes....If I can be of a service to you, please feel free to call.

I was flying home from Belize and pulled a bookmark out of my book and there was your picture!!!! Weird coincidence! Sis. Alvear had given me some of your information when I saw her in Nashville during the JCM/AMC meetings.

Well, it's good to know a friendly person in Belize!
