It's a long story Hoovie.
And it sounds like some really good fiction when I try to tell it. lol

Re: I was baptized today!
That's great nahkoe... but is it the "real thing" without snakes, 'gators and critters in the water with you? I guess if it was really cold water that would suffice.
In the high country around here, most of the water is too cold to have critters in it. But there are some hot springs though...

LOL @ pelathais
It's not a valid baptism unless you risk death before you go under, thereby sending you to hell, right? LOL Well, I guess if the alligator rolled you under, the preacher could just scream the appropriate formula and you'd be ok.

According to some, only if the alligator was a licensed, cardholding UPC minister...

WOW!
And while I was standing in the water trying to catch my breath after being dunked in that cold water....lol My daughter decided to be baptized, no dry clothes along or anything. I got to stand on one side of her, my friend on the other, and baptize my daughter.

Wonderful news, nahkoe! And what a privilege to baptize your daughter. Precious!

N.O.W, is a baptism in the name of Krishna acceptable?
Why would anyone on an Apostolic Jesus Name Forum ( isn't AFF supposed to be Apostolic One God Jesus Name Baptism forum ) take offence to anyone hoping our Sister braved the chill in Jesus name? I sure hope Sister got baptized in Jesus' precious name. I think nakoe believes I'm here friend, but what kind of friend would I be if I wasn't honest with her by wanting to know if it was in Jesus' name. Since Jesus name baptism is Biblical, and since we are talking about a baptism, shouldn't it logically been the way her baptism been performed?

reminds me of the words to the old song:
Went to the water,
the water was cold,
chilled my body
but thrilled my soul
That baptism in that video probably could not wash away sin, it just froze them and then they slid off
