"Cutting" is a terrible problem and nothing to joke about at all. I've worked with several people who struggle with it and it's really sad.

The first time I heard about "Cutting" I seriously thought I was being joked with. The inner self-loathing and self-esteem issues that go with that problem are heart-breaking.

I had patient thank me for not making any improper comments to her when she came after gashing open her arm by cutting. I guess some have said stuff to her in the past.
