I don't know. It seems women have one response and men can take their choice of responses, one which is okay and the other which is not. How can it be told apart from the outside looking in?

This is way more personal than I like to be here, but it seems you are trying to make a blanket statement about men and women.

As a woman, yes, we are wired differently than men and we don't think 24/7 about sex. However, with that said, I have noticed that since I'm now single things are different for me.

I could go into that more, but I think we are all adult enough to understand what I'm saying without having to spell it out.

Not entirely clear what you're saying though.

Is there a "pause" button where a man is presented options on how to "respond" or does the brain have reactions on its own?

I think we are trying to corral each sex into a box so that we can feel happy we figured out what is going on in the minds of each. I personally don't think it matters how many books we read. Each individual is shaped by their background, i.e., family, friends, church background, books they've read, movies they have seen, school experience, jobs, etc., etc.

Each person is going to become the person they are by what shaped them.

So, in short, I don't know what ALL women think. I know what I think and sometimes I don't think a thing and sometimes I do. Sometimes I do is rare, but it's still there, just to be honest.
