I have friends that have done P90X and had good results, but they say that the eating is as important as the work outs. Also they said that it is so, so tough that it is nearly impossible to do as the video shows because it is so highly intense. They have had good fat loss, but they seemed to put some back on with in a few weeks because they changed the diet back. You might be a different composition and it might stick.
If you can swim and swim well it could be a huge benefit. Obviously it tones your arms and legs, but it is also a great core work out. Also Plyometrics really work, P90X is pretty much Plyometrics. But swimming is great. Look at ManofWord below. He is in Triathlon shape so take it with a grain of salt, but I am envious.
