Mr. Smith, I have family members who are christian who have not spoken in tongues, so I am not judging you. The bible says in romans 8(I think) he who has not the spirit of God is none of his. That means we are baptized into his body by one spirit. If you believe that tongues is the initial evidence of receiving the spirit as the upc does and I'm sure you can find many threads on the subject, then you can firmly state that someone who has not spoken in tongues has not received the spirit or been baptized into his body by being born again of water and spirit.

But I firmly believe that one is filled with the Spirit at belief in one's heart and confession with one's mouth. There are multiple places in which I believe scripture teaches this.
I'm bringing this up because part of your refuting of the Muslim faith is that a "Christian speaks in tongues", thus making it appear as though ALL Christians speak in tongues. I would assume you know this, but Christianity isn't the only religion that claims tongues.

Please use scripture.
A lot of people claim the are spirit filled. Millions claim to be Christians that aren't
Acts 19: is clear.
2He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
3And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
4Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
1 Corinthians 12:3
No one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit
The bible tells us what Holy Ghost filled looks like.
Mohamad was the opposite. The gifts of the spirit include discernement.
Mohamad is another heathen that wanted to peddle a false religion.
Revelation 17
1And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
The Muslims will increase their attacks on born again believers.

When people have not spoken in tongues, they do not really know what the Holy Ghost is.

Tomorrrow someone in church will recieve the Holy Ghost. When I lay hands on them and pray for them. It is common for me to see someone and know they will be filled even before the preaching stops.
Sometimes they get a deliverance the same time the Holy Ghost fills them.

Statement #1) Moronic. Completely ridiculous.
Statement #2) Wow, you're really something. All praise and glory to Coadie and none to Jesus.

Re: Mohammed wasn't a good man, Hubal isn't our Go
Mr Smith there are apostolics who believe that one receives the spirit at repentance and confession while the vast majority believe that one receives the spirit when one speaks in tongues. The latter are called 3 steppers because we believe one must repent, be water baptized in jesus name and be spirit baptized speaking in tongues in order to be born again of water and spirit according to john 3. Are you even apostolic? You would have known this. Can you give scriptures for spirit baptism at repentance?
