Re: FCF'ers? Where are some of the old posters?
Bro. Ballard, Welcome back! I am not on AFF a whole lot but lately have found time to post again. Looks like other folks updated you on some of the folks from the old days. Good to see you here.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: FCF'ers? Where are some of the old posters?
Thanks CC1, good to see you again. Are you still going to Christ Church?
I sent a message out to everyone in this thread but I'm not sure if there are restrictions on sending out messages until I've been approved by Admin. Can you you verify?

Not sure about any restrictions myself but Renda should know. She is a woman and knows everything.
My wife's health made it very hard for her to ride 45 mins to church, sit for a couple of hours, then ride 45 mins home. For that reason we had to look for a local church. After about 1 1/2 years we finally found a church home a few months in our town outside Nashville that we love.

As far as restrictions are, the message went through I'm receiving replies.
Well I guess I should've taken you up on your offer for Espresso at Christ Church when I was in Nashville about 5 years ago... LOL..
Sorry to hear about your wife.

Clearly not a UPC pastor now with that facial hair!

Bro. Ballard, I remember you! You may not remember me as I didn't post much, and still don't.
God bless!

Felicity is alive and well and back on the East Coast of Canada. Our church just raised a ton of dough to help her & her husband with their missions trip to China. They leave tomorrow

Monkeyperson, I was just doing some web browsing and ran across your church and saw you and your wife's photo on the staff page. Do you guys have any music video clips anywhere on the web? I saw there is preaching and teaching ones on the church website but didn't notice music.
