OH justifiable racism, I see.

By several miles, one of the most moronic posts I've seen on AFF. Great accomplishment, actually, to be that ridiculous in only five words! This mentality is part of the problem and not even close to being a part of the solution. I'd love to see you speak at one of the African-American Baptist churches I've been in community with and say things like this.

I absolutely have been denied jobs and opportunities for being white. I am not eligible for scholarships that are only available to minorities yet every scholarship I could apply for so could they.

Fair enough. But were those avenues your only chance? For many minorities, it's the only chance they have.

One can make a decent case for some kind of affirmative action in the educational system. Unfortunately, a majority of inner-city schools, which houses the vast majority of minorities, teach at such a low level that even a person who aces the inner-city school system has never been given the tools to pass qualification standards set by many universities.

Not to change the subject but thanks for the great argument in favor of universal vouchers.

Oh, you would get no argument from me on that one!! The public school system is a joke and I'm not talking about the removal of prayer, the distribution of condoms, or the teaching of evolution. While many suburban schools are high-quality, many that are located in urban areas or tinytown, America, are absolutely horrific, academically.

Re: Race Card Anyone

My Dad retired from the government and got his PHd..it took years to get a teaching position because he was a white man. The job always went to a woman or some other minority. I call that discrimination

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Here is the response I often hear given to minorities who make the same complaint:

"Well, maybe your father just wasn't as good and qualified."
