Berk coming to HOUSTON!!!!

My cousins in Cypress have an extra bedroom and asked me to occupy it. I considered and have not given an answer. My aunt in Houston is going to be in Colorado for six months and wants me to house sit. Both would be opportunities to try out the Houston area, as my love affair with the Rio Grande Valley is ovah!

So I ask, wot does Houston have to offer? Is it multicultural? What is there to do? Museums, etc?

There's a neighborhood just east of the Sam Houston Tollway on Bellaire that has a lot of Chinese shops, restaurants, etc. Google Street View show signs in both English and Chinese characters. I also know of an Indian shopping area a couple of miles away (Harwin and Hillcroft).

That's kind of a ways from Cypress, but Houston is HUGE...

There's lots of Latinos in Cypress? I dunno. I guess I've been living in SoCal for too long. It seems there are lots of Latinos everywhere hehe

Houston is the most multicultural place I have been to outside of New York.

Lots to do. The most negative thing I can say about Houston is the traffic. Just plan on being in it anytime of the day but rush hour is not a picnic.

It does get hot and humid but because it is near the coast most of the time there is a breeze blowing that make is more tolerable that Dallas.
