That is just the point Sam! LOL They don't know nor can they write or speak in Hebrew but they want to act like they have some corner on "the name" by writing it in so called Hebrew!
Most of us came OUT of these elitist sectarian movements where they put down everyone else to lift up themselves because they felt so inferior.
This whole Yahwa, YAWAH, Yaway, Yahwey, Yeshua, Yesus, Joshua, Yeshua Hamishea stuff is goofy and people that get into it are weird. They feel so inferior and have to have some goofy doctrine that they believe is so much better and then want to try and prove it to everyone to make themselves feel better about themselves. Its not about ministering to people or bringing Salvation, healing and deliverance to people - Its about their little hobby horse doctrine. GOOFY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you want to speak Hebrew - move to Israel, learn the language and become a Messianic Evangelist. If you speak ENGLISH - The name is Jesus Christ not Yeshua.

Thanks! It took me a long time to get it looking good this morning.

So just please tell me that, at your church, you don't have people marching around the building with one of those ram horn deals wearing prayer shawls. That stuff drives me nuts.

Speaking of "Nuts", just imagine a visitor walking in, in the middle of that. "These people are nuts."

Yep, they are.

Re: For those who believe in a post-trib rapture..

Per another thread that was started by somebody, (it escapes me who). Enough is enough. I dont believe in nor does my church do anything like what your talking about. But you have degressed to the very answer of the thread mentioned above. How much is enough. Is it not enough to just say, "the belief in these things are not scriptural and if anyone practices them could you please provide scripture?"

But nooooooo , we gotta start calling "people" goofy, weird, nuts, etc etc. Do you not think you made your point with just saying the "belief" is unfounded ? But no, we have to result to name calling and insults. This is when it becomes too much. This is why people from both sides of fence are hesitant to post here anymore.

Just sayin.

"Weird" and "Goofy" was from the Atlanta-man. I only threw in "Nuts."

But it was temporary lapse. I forgot about, "Idiotic", "Moronic", "Insane" (That one is from the NLT of I Corinthians 14), and "Embarrassing."

Re: For those who believe in a post-trib rapture..

I have been in ministry for 35+ years and have seen just about everything and I can assure you - There are MANY that are just as goofy, weird, nuts as can be and I have every right to say so. If more men of God would have cut this mess out long ago there would not be so many crazy people in church - doing CRAZY THINGS!

Paul certainly had no problem pointing out things that were goofy, strange, weird, etc. And please, don't anyone show up and say, "But you're not Paul."

Shalom, Bishop.

I have been given stranger and weirder prophecies than Ken (the hair) Clement can give and have SURVIVED! LOL

Where in the world is "the wilderness"? ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know many city folk who are avid hunters and capable of living in the wilderness.

What if a catastrophy happens, or we enter Great Tribulation, and you and your family are forced to leave the city because it becomes a virtual hell on earth with violence, rape, and vandalism?

It doesn't take much to learn how to at least hunt and dress a deer or something. Laugh if you like.

There's a story about a man who was in his house during a flood. A boat came by and those aboard admonished him to get aboard and go with them to safety. The man declined saying, "Don't worry, God will save me." As the waters were rising and he was now on the second floor of his home another boat came by admonishing him to get aboard and go with them to safety. The man declined again saying, "Don't worry, God will save me." Finally the waters were so high he was on his roof clinging to his chimney. A helicopter hovers above him, those aboard dropped a ladder and admonished him to get aboard and fly with them to safety. The man declined saying, "Dont worry, God will save me!" Eventually the water rose and the man was swept away and drowned. Upon arriving at the Pearly Gates the man saw God standing with St. Peter. The man cried, "God, I trusted you! Why didn't you save me?!" God looked the man in the eyes and say, "I sent two boats and a helicopter!"

I think that IF one really believes in a coming Tribulation... they should at least know how to dress a deer and have common disaster supplies.
