As far as firing a gun or something, yes they could fire one, but probably not very straight.

Oh nice one lol. Seriously. Considering DADT allows gahs to be in the military without our knowledge, we can pretty much assume there have always been gahs in the military...even during wars we actually won.

If the shower is your basic standard room-for-one-person shower, no, I wouldn't want to shower with a gay guy, straight guy, any kind of guy. If it's a dorm-type shower, I wouldn't care. I hate those things. The athletic club I used to belong? I wouldn't shower there. No way. I wouldn't want to shower with anyone in any setting myself, so I would struggle with showering with gay or straight guys.
