Liar or Stupid?
These are words that are not normally a part of my vocabulary. I consider them to be overly harsh and I refrain from their use for that reason.
But, I'm sorry, I just cannot think of any other words that will properly express my thoughts.
After reading the following...
-- Midterm elections confirm Americans are deeply frustrated with pace of economic recovery, President Obama says.
Seriously?
Is he lying?
Or is he just that stupid?

Neither; he's too arrogant to blame his own policies.
It's very revealing when it's an NBC reporter who asks him a *sharp* question regarding his personal reflection (on how he contributed to this voter response).

What scares me is this.
If his response to the election is this...
-- Midterm elections confirm Americans are deeply frustrated with pace of economic recovery.
Then what does that mean? Is he saying he isn't spending enough yet?
Oh please don't tell me he is saying that.
Repubs. You better hold your ground. You better nail every penny worth of spending he wants to increase to the ground and then reverse some of the previous ignorance that has already passed.

How is that either? Are you saying that Americans are not "frustrated with pace of economic recovery"?

I definitely don't think that alone is what prompted the changes last night, AND it's somewhat offensive to frame voter response so simply. The problems that led to last night's voter response are much more complex than just a knee-jerk reaction to high unemployment.

People are frustrated with the rate of economic recovery. But this election result was because America is tired of the policies of this administration.
I have a feeling that the 2012 will be one of the most highly attended elections with people making sure that this cat needs a pass to get back into the white house.

I thought this thread was gonna be about Charnock.
