Yeah, who owns The Huffington Post? True or not, which I am not sure all of it is. Why did you call him shallow and of questionable intellect? And are you implying that anyone that voted for him is stupid?

Re: Bush Can't Write His Own Book
All Presidents are politicians. They are not all super intelligent. Because politician/intelligent is an oxymoron to some.

Re: Bush Can't Write His Own Book
DM - I try to stay away from personal attacks, but your post shows the typical elitist attitude that got the Democrats trounced in the past election cycle and will probably get them trounced in the next cycle.
You easily could have addressed the issue of your problem with GWB's book without a personal attack on anyone who vote's for a Republican or on a former president.
I am one who always tries to stay civil in discussions of any sort, however your post reminds me of a link one of my friends sent to me of how liberals argue.
It was to true to life to be funny.
Liberals invariably resort to personal insults or name calling.
I find it disturbing that you would need to resort to this.
I have found that you have more intellect than that.
Ridiculous.

Re: Bush Can't Write His Own Book
The Huffington Post, a radical liberal rag, that's who says so!!!! Whose ideas are so morally bankrupt, that it prop ably is on UC's no read lists.
I'd rather read Bush's book, the idea that he is of questionable intellect, is quite a stretch. He ran his own oil business, he ran for a Texas senate seat, he was elected as governor of state of Texas twice consecutively (the first time for the state). The head Democrat in the Texas state house worked closely with him to accomplish a great deal for our state. Bob Bullock, a life long Democratic powerhouse in Texas endorsed him and voted for W for president. He bought into the Texas Rangers and sold for a large profit and bought a 1600 acre ranch with the proceeds.
IF HE IS OF QUESTIONABLE INTELLECT, IT MEANS THE DUMBEST REPUBLICANS MAKE BETTER PRESIDENTS THAN THE SMARTEST DEMOCRATS.
And he will laugh all the way to the bank on the sell of his book, and I have already contributed by buying the book and in the process of reading it. I don't know if he wrote it or not, but he has agreed with what it presents, and I for one have enjoyed hearing him spar with the media during his book tour.
The liberals can't get over George, they are still fighting the 2000 presidential election, Bush hasn't been on any ticket since 2004, so get over him already.

Re: Bush Can't Write His Own Book
One more thing DM. Let's talk about business smarts.
Let's say you are a small business owner, who has to leave for a while.
Who would you rather put in charge of your business while you are gone.
Barack Obama or George W. Bush.
Easy answer, one has extensive experience in the business world, one has close to zero.

Re: Bush Can't Write His Own Book
I don't think we can compare President Obama and President Bush. They were brought up different. The thing is DM that if most people wrote their own memoirs without help, the books wouldn't sale. For one thing, they might be boring.

Re: Bush Can't Write His Own Book
Cindy - the book thing was just a ploy. The real aim was to insult as many people as possible.
Maybe DM just wanted to start the party and stand back and laugh!

No...none of the above, nothing like it....
Maybe huffington has...someone on her staff perhaps? No...not there either...
The left is so jealous, it's down right pathetic. I've yet to meet one of you that has any self control, dignity or grace.
