Standard Operating Procedure In Today's Politics

Well.. not in politics per se. But in the way that people view political happenings.

This is how people see things.

1. Every accusation made against the "other side" is true, legitimate and totally based in fact. This should also be driven in the ground for as long as possible and never forgotten even if it is found to be false later on.

2. Every accusation made about "my side" is either an exaggeration, a stretch of the truth or the empty rhetoric of those losers on the other side. Even if the accusations are found to be totally true you just wouldn't understand. And the whole reason this was brought up in the first place is because of the desire of those on the "other side" to bring down the tall, dark, handsome and generally well mannered, well meaning and morally upright people on "my side".

These are the two consist traits of the pitiful partakers of partisan politics.

This is what gives life to the machine of our demise.
