Re: Pet Peeves
People who are always late! Well, okay, anyone who is late! If you'd start just a few minutes earlier you'd be on time!

People who talk on their cell phone, while driving, and use my lane and theirs, too.

Re: Pet Peeves
People who post on AFF, Facebook, etc. and never read what they have just posted! If some would read what they have just written they probably wouldn't even understand it themselves. And it doesn't hurt to check the spelling and punctuation as well.
Boy, I hope I got everything correct in this post!

At least you can pick the onion off. Try asking for no cheese, getting home and finding cheese and picking the cheese off
Add that to my list of pet peeves

Re: Pet Peeves
Oh, here is one you probably never thought of. Chevron gas stations. Their machines require you to enter your zip code instead of your pin number when you use your card. I've moved often and sometimes I can't remember whether the zip code ends in 30 or 36, but I know my PIN Ive been using for more than a decade.
Get that zip code wrong and you can't use the gas pump, you have to go inside where a girl swipes the card and then asks you to enter your PIN

I lived in south Texas... wondered why the drivers from Mexico always seemed to be driving sooo sloooooow!!! Then I thought, maybe it's because their speedometers are in km.

Ok, Randy, I have to step in here. My son is 17 (has been driving for 14 months) and I am insistent that he keeps the legal distance between him and the vehicle in front. He does not have the experience to know the intricacies of when to get over, etc. He is probably a little more cautious than the average driver who has been on the road for 20 years, but he knows that if I find out that he is driving aggressively we will take his license (and I do have WATCHERS- everywhere!).
So I guess my pet peeve would be finding my kid dead or horribly injured on the side of the road.
PS- so far he has no accidents and no tickets

Proper following distance is 2 seconds ("one one thousand, two one thousand", etc) NOT "one one thousand . . . . . .ten one thousand. . . ."...... Such extreme NON-aggressive driving will more likely lead to injury do to road rage incidents.
