Dancing: Ever acceptable outside Shockamoo?
Is all dancing sinful? I personally don't think so whether it's in church or out.
We used to square dance as hardcore conservative Mennonites. Seemed quite harmless to me and still does.
I think alot of folks have images of smoky bars and alcohol or gyrating pelvises at a rock concert, but it need not be that way.
I think Jesus danced, don't you?
Your thoughts?
P.S. As a side topic, do you think Jesus was pretty big on Shockamoo during worship services?

Good question. I don't know that I have a quote. But, I have heard just that implied by some.

In the Lexicon
Shockamoo - (noun) This is a term coined by Thad to describe the demonstrative worship that has been one of the hallmarks of Oneness Pentecost. It includes, but is not limited to, dancing, running the aisles, leaping for joy, rolling on the floor, and various other exuberant expressions of praise. This is a kind of worship that is vigorously objected to by CC1 and other backsliders.
