And Let The Church Roll On
And Let The Church Roll On
Lyrics from an old song: "If a deacon in the church won't do right, tell me what we gonna do? Have a meeting and put him out!! And let the church roll on..."
In today's world is kicking people out of a church considered judgmental or is it keeping sin out of the camp?
Is it ever ok to kick someone out of a church?
What would it take for someone to get kicked out of your church?
If that person went far enough to get kicked out of church could they ever come back?
If a man cheats on his wife and has a baby by another woman in the church should he be kicked out? This man is a church elder. His wife, new baby, and the woman he cheated with are still in the same church. What do you make of that? Suppose the woman he has the baby with gets married. She gets married to a man that is divorced in the same church. She helped to break his marriage up. Her new husband has to look at the baby that she had with this other man. He married her b/c he thought she was pregnant with his baby. Not it comes out that it may not be his baby after all. Do you follow? Who needs to go? Who gets to stay? This is a real situation.
