I went to a church where this sort of thing was believed. I was very surprised when I heard it from the Pastor's wife's mouth in class and then, when I spoke up against such a mindset, a few of the others there chimed in and agreed with her. I even metioned Moses' wife, but for some reason they seemed to think that was different because it was OT... Yet, they used the OT to back up other doctrines they believed.
It was also stated by the pastor's wife that day about different birds not breeding, which was not right thinking because a sparrow and an owl (or whatever other bird she named at the moment) are NOT the same species. Yet, if you were using her arguement correctly (about "nature teaching you")comparing dogs, which are not different species, you can find many mixed breed puppies. I have had a few mutts myself that were really good, beautiful dogs. Anyway, I don't think people are animals...
Needless to say, I was none too happy that day...and thought of friends I have had who were in interracial marriages, yet it never seemed to be an issue in their marriage....
I think it's not right thinking.
