Hey everyone!

I went this weekend with a friend of mine to a "Love Thy Neighbor" ladies night in Jackson, MS. My friend spoke and I just felt that I wanted to share a bit of what she spoke on.

She, of course, addressed the ladies and it wasn't a "feel good" message, but a soul searching one that she felt led to speak on.

She had a list of names that God calls us as his children and passed those out to everyone along with a list of emotions that women have and a scripture for each emotion. (I'll get these and post later) The list of names that God calls us she wanted the ladies to read and when they felt unworthy, low self-esteem, etc. to read the names that God calls us and know that we aren't these things to him that he sees us as "the apple of his eye", etc. Real powerful when you do that.

I can't retell the whole message, but what I felt to share with you ladies is this. That we have wallpaper in our minds of all the negative events that have happened in our lives and that we have to make a conscious effort to tear down that wallpaper and replace with positive thoughts.

That satan's best attack on us is our minds and he will use the hurts of our past to destroy us.

She explained also that we are emotional creatures and because of that we can use those emotions for positive influences around us or negative influences. That too is a conscious choice.

Just be aware of the choices you make.
