Charnock - it sounds as though you have some reason to be upset.
However, I intensely dislike it when anyone makes an accusation then cannot or will not back it up with names or details.
If you are not prepared to back it up for everyone's education, then why bring it up.
Maybe you did not intend for this to go as far as it has.

That is an un-refutable fact.
What is bothersome is that we've had some come here and try to accuse NOW of being pro homosexuality, when all he had said was he was willing to reach out to them with the gospel and not treat them spitefully. In the process of doing that these "gentle-men" resorted to innuendo of homosexual acts. I've heard from others that these sorts of innuendos happen often on the preachers forum and nothing is done. Yet if someone is seen as not being a hard liner on standards that person can be banned. That is the wide wide perception of people that were actually members OF those forums and either left of their own free will after being disgusted or were themselves banned for voicing their opinions.
Usually the counter argument is that person is a liar (that just happened a few posts earlier towards Charnock) and is just bitter. Well to many this just looks like another good ole boys cover-up.
Same thing happens to whistle blowers in the world. It's the same reason why people that have been mistreated or abused don't come forward and speak up, because usually the machine will make the victim the accused and the accuser the victim until something happens that allows the victim to finally speak up. It's how a predator can get away with abusing little girls while being in a position of trust, because the predator relies on nobody believing he can do such a crime. It's happened many many times in many different denominations and sadly it often gets covered up by good men.
Still, you are correct, they are not ALL that way. The irony here is we say the same things about Moderate muslims. They aren't the minority of extremist that are killing people. But often the perception is that the good Muslims aren't doing enough to speak up and out against the extremists. They are seen as too passive.

The fact is this, is this the way to handle such things?
I have been on one Preachers Forum and have seen none of what you speak.
Nevertheless, is such a broad statement correct & is it Biblical in the way that it is being handled?
I would hazard a guess it isn't.
I don;t have to be afraid of who knows who I am or where I attend Church
If you need it, I would even be obliged to give you my Pastor's name & phone number if you have a complaint about me or my posts.
I would hope you would be Christian enough to point it out to me so I could possibly make it right first.
I still don't see what Charock is doing is either Helpful or Biblical.
