I like wearing a ring that shows I'm attached. It means something to me--and to my husband. In fact, I think it's a bit funny that UC's who believe so strongly that women should have a symbol of authority on their heads (uncut hair) don't also apply that logic to having a symbol of attachment on their hands.
How weird that you don't want to "tell the world you are married." I think it would hurt my feelings if my husband felt that way. And how does one "act married?" If you mean "act moral", then I would say that single Christians have to do that, too, so what are you talking about exactly????
