Are you awaiting the coming of messiah to destroy Israel's enemies and set up a kingdom where gentile will serve the Jew? That's what the Jews are waiting for.

Well, that's why I'm asking. The disciples seemed to have the notion that a kingdom would be restored to Israel (whether physical or spiritual, i'm not sure).
But the disciples were expecting a kingdom restoration to Israel, else why would they have asked the question in
Acts 1:6?
So i'm trying to see what others think. Is it spiritual? Is it physical?
We know the kingdom was definitely taken from them as per Jesus' own words in Matt 21:43.
Matt 21:43
Therefore say I unto you,
The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
So based on Jesus' statement, I guess the kingdom taken from Israel was a spiritual kingdom. So does this mean the spiritual kingdom will someday be restored Israel? (the disciples seem to be expecting such restoration based on
Acts 1:6)
