They have some Adventist as well as some Pentecostal roots but were never affiliated with the bizarre female false profit that some of the Adventists got hooked into. They seem to have balance about a variety of issues. I have some qualms about the fact that they do not ordain women but my experience with OP churches is that they really no longer believe that women should preach either for the most part but are less honest about it as women ministers do a lot to pump up the roles.
