Well in my area, a Mohawked preacha would be limiting his audience by about 90%. I sincerely don't believe there would be any limiting in the case of a beard... well ok perhaps one or two would go to the church down the road - but that is only because of self inflicted harm in past messages. It would certainly allow some to stay that would have been spurned in years gone by.
