why do you like church buildings for meetings?

When I was very young my Dad was very ill and bed ridden so we had prayer meetings, singing, worship and bible discussions in our home. Missing was the preached word calling for repentance, etc. however, my Dad did receive the HOLY GHOST so I am thankful for that time. I feel that a church building is more apt to draw a diverse group of people together and produce more growth to the Kingdom of God.
