O wretched man that I am!! Brother, I know what this old wicked heart of mine is capable of!! This flesh is not born again. Thank God I have been made a partaker of the divine nature, and truly desire in my heart to please the Lord. I am no longer a servant of sin. But if I don't put of barriers to temptation, and stay in communion with the Holy Spirit, I will fail. That is just how it is and we need not kid ourselves.
Lord forgive me for the times I have grieved your Spirit by toying with some forbidden fruit!! I know I am forgiven, but I sometimes cannot forgive myself!!
