I agree with this completely! (And lightening strikes the earth!!)
So, sadly there are people who come into the church looking for direction (that's why they come into the church in the first place....if they had no need they would not be looking) and then the pastor preaches that the church is where they need to be and that their needs will be met here. Then, sometimes those needs are not met and confusion for the saint sets in especially when the pastor begins to blame them for their own needs not getting met. Very confusing situation.
