I wonder how many police have lost their lives over the years. The truth is every time an officer is dispatched to a scene he can already know that the people there are not in favor of him. As already has been said, we have trust issues and most don't care for law enforcement.
I believe that there are good people and bad people in every line of work.(law enforcement included.) I can't assume all police are bad because of isolated events. I can't assume that a race of people are all bad because of isolated events. In order for these communities to have a transformation both sides will have to do their part.
