NO NO NO the planet earth was not destroyed even remotely the inhabitants were destroyed. The ungodly were destroyed, that is the parallel Peter is making in 2 Peter. God will destroy the ungodly at his return with fire. And he did. There is no metaphor in this passage, the first thing Titus did was to burn with fire everything that would burn. He then torn the city apart stone by stone, thus fulfilling Matt 24:2.
Yet Sean would have you believe not one thing in Matt 24 has been fulfilled.
