Weekend Praise Report
This weekend was one of our baptism weekends at church. About quarterly we have a Friday night Worship Night that ends with a baptismal service then the four regular weekend church services on Saturday and Sunday continue the theme with the lesson being on baptism and baptisms at the end of service.
This weekend we baptized 70 people in Jesus name which brings our total for the year to about 250.
I attend the first service on Saturdays and it was so exciting to see so many men and woman in their 20's and 30's getting baptized.
Our church is in a 100+ year old factory / warehouse so we don't have a baptistry. We use two large portable tanks / tubs that look like they are made out of heavy duty rubbermaid. I think they are water tanks for cattle.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
