Does anyone else see this as a very dangerous way to think?
It seems dangerous enough to me bring from lurking to sounding the alarm!
The fact of the matter is this: the God and Savior that we have grown to love and and privileged to serve does not exist sans His Word.
The Bible is His Word.
With your logic, we can throw away the Bible! Abraham didn't need it-- we don't either! As long as we follow God...
Sounds just like the world!
"God and I have our own thing."
"God knows my heart."
"You can't judge me. Only God can judge me."
"The God of the universe is much bigger than any one book."
I fear that your thoughts as expressed are grave in their error.
So serious.
