The effects of hurting someone's family

Yes...I am writing this because of what was said on the other thread...

May I tell you a personal story....Maybe 10 years ago or so Brother Alvear, Raul Jr, Michael and I were in a youth camp. In fact I spoke in one of the services (daytime) and had tremendous results.

In another service an evangelist walked in that had no clue of what had transpired....Someway he got started on women preachers and went on and on...said some ridiculous things....the group of preachers putting on the youth camp were probably about half and half....however none had any problem with what I had said for it was not preaching. I was telling my life story.

After about 20 minutes of mocking women both my sons whispered let's get up and walk out mother...you have done more for the cause of Christ than this guy ever will...I said, No, soon it will be over....

After the meeting the preachers that did and did not believe in women preachers came to talk with me...I told them there was no problem...and the preacher did not even know I had spoken there.


My boys to this day can't hardly stomach that preacher...Today his wife is my friend....I doubt if she or he even realized I was there....I saw through what he really wanted....to be noticed by a money pastor there that did not believe in women....he needed a revival...

Some people (including me) need to pray for wisdom....We may be right about any given subject but our spirit can make us wrong.
