Re: Why Won't He Let Me Find My Biological Father?
Never met my dad and don't know who he is. My mom was taken in very easy, especially in her younger days. My grandparents took me in at the age of 2 to keep human services off my mom's back. Although, I don't feel bitter I still have to sometimes manage my emotions. We can all get the "woe is me" complex, but all things work together for the good. I am thankful to had grandparents who brought me up in the fear of the Lord. It is a little late in life for me to worry about my dad, my children need me to be a strong stable dad. God has helped me to be a father in my home.
I have been married for almost 14 years and have two wonderful children, but a person has to make up their mind that they aren't going to go down that road their parents lived on. We must pattern our lives in a way that pleases God.
JD, seems like you have done well in spite of the absence of your father. You must trust that all things do things work together for the good. You are the person you are today because of the roads you have been down. No matter how you started you can finish strong.
