Of course, none of the above speak directly to you. Instead each was spoken directly to the audience that first received it and was specifically for the time period in which it was fulfilled.

Your post omits the fact that the Bible is not written TO us but FOR us. Fulfilled prophecy gives a student of God's Word 20/20 vision. This perfect vision allows them to see what was told, why it was told, how it was received, and how it turned out. From this, the student can rightly divide the word of truth and apply the lesson they gleaned to their walk of faith.

Here's where the Bible tells us to do exactly that:
Romans 15:4....For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

1 Corinthians 9:10....Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.

1 Corinthians 10:11....Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Oh, now I see, the gospels were written for our example and our admonition, but not for us today.... Cool!
